And even the best architects can slip and not do their home works before start designing (ouch!).
This is particularly wrong in the case of social housing.
We should be especially careful and put up our best efforts on social housing projects because this shows what kind of persons and human beings we are, before we are architects.
Too often and too sadly, it's quite the opposite and social housing is made with the minimal money possible, with the highest density standards possible, with the most cement and least care.
The world is full of poorly done social housing projects that, instead of dignifying the people who live there and uplift the whole neighborhoods, only create slums and ghettos.
I think it's time to change attitude and see social housing projects as an occasion to do great things for our fellow citizens instead of a problem to be quickly and cheaply solve.
